One-to-One Sessions
Today, various faculty members were able to meet with Rachel Jeanty and Ellen Cartwright one-on-one. Some faculty members who are using the smartboard for the first time, were able to walk through the basics of how to set up their SMARTboards with their laptops, how to orient the boards, and how to use the basics tools of the SMARTnotebook. Cao Hong, was able to set up Audacity, an audio editor and recorder, and created .mp3 files of chinese sounds that she later imported to her smartnotebook lesson. Additionally, veteran users were able to try out new techniques to enhance their lessons whether it was improving a vocab or math lesson. There seems to be a great need for the one-to-one sessions, so we look forward to providing more opportunities to support the specifc needs of our SMARTboard users!
